How do I upgrade my license?
All our plugins have multiple packages available. If you have an active license (not canceled or expired), you can upgrade to a different package at any time from your Studio Wombat account. This article will walk you through the steps involved in upgrading your license.
- Login to your Studio Wombat account here: https://www.studiowombat.com/account/
- If you can’t remember your password, all you’ll need to do is click the ‘Forgot Your Password?’ link on the login page. Once clicked, you’ll be able to reset your password.
- Once you’ve logged in, you’ll land on the Licenses tab of your account dashboard. Here, you’ll see all active and expired licenses. You can click the Upgrade button next to an active license key.
- A new popup appears showing you all available upgrades.
- Depending on the purchase date of your license, upgrades can happen one of 2 ways:
- If your license was purchased recently, upgrading means you’ll only pay the price difference between plans, with a discount for the time you haven’t used yet. Your license expiry date will not be extended.
- If your license is close to renewal, the upgrade price is the same as another full year, with a discount for any unused time. Your license expiry date will be extended with 1 year.
- Click Upgrade to start the checkout process. Each upgrade lists the price, as well as the discount that was applied. Depending on the remaining time on your subscription, you may also be pro-rated and your license may be extended with an additional year.
