Each slice of your wheel can either be a losing slice (no prize) or a winning slice. When a slice is a winning one, you can assign one of the following prize types to build any prize you want:

• Coupon code: hand out a coupon code to use on your website or in-store. If you use WooCommerce, the code is automatically generated through WooCommerce and can only be used once by the winner. You can fully define the discount percentage or fixed amount, and the time it’s valid for.
• Free gift: if you use WooCommerce, you can also award a free product as a gift.
• Plain link: point the user to any link, such as a page on your website with more details about their prize.
• Redirect: automatically send the user to a specific page with additional prize information.
• Text or HTML: display custom text or HTML on the wheel to describe the prize.

Yes! You can define two types of chances:

1. Global winning chance: this percentage determines whether players win something when they spin the wheel. A value of 100 means they always win, while 0 means they never win (even if the wheel contains prizes). Each player has the same chance of winning, based on the global winning percentage. So if one player wins, it doesn’t affect the next player’s odds.
2. Slice chance: determines how likely each prize slice is to be picked when a user wins.

You can also set a limit on each prize to ensure valuable prizes can’t be won more than a specific number of times.

Yes! You can freely set a limit for each winning slice — or leave it unlimited. Once a slice reaches its limit, the system will no longer land on it, letting you control how many times each prize can be won.

No, you don’t need WooCommerce. WP Optin Wheel fully integrates with WooCommerce’s coupon features, allowing the wheel to automatically generate unique on-time-use coupons as a prize.

The plugin works equally fine without WooCommerce. Instead of using auto-generated coupons, you can manually enter coupons per slice of the wheel.

WP Optin Wheel can store data directly in your WordPress database (no external tool required) or it can send it directly to your favorite marketing tool.

Yes! WP Optin Wheel works on any theme, as long as your theme is well coded.

The admin pages of WP Optin Wheel are in English, but the wheels on your site can be in any language you want. All text on the frontend is added via the wheel’s settings.

You can also use it on your multilingual site through WPML or Polylang.

To run the plugin, you need at least these requirements:

• PHP 5.4+
• WordPress 3.7+

There are 2 types of licenses: yearly and lifetime.

Yearly licenses are subscription-based and can be cancelled at any time. If you cancel the subscription, the plugin will continue to work as normal until the end of the paid-for period. Once the license expires or is cancelled, you will no longer receive updates or support for the plugin.

With lifetime licenses, you pay only once and receive updates and support for life.

Yes, but you will not receive updates, bug fixes, or support. Some features (like email validation or features to combat cheating) require an active license. They will stop working if your license expired.

You can keep using the last version prior to your license expiring, but we can’t guarantee this will keep working when WooCommerce or WordPress updates.

If you have a lifetime license, your license will never expire and you will always get updates, bug fixes, and support!

Yes, and it doesn’t count towards your license activation limit! Unlimited test, development, and staging sites are included in your license, as long as our system can recognize the site as such.
